step one: select a photo and then duplicate the background layer. CTRL + J
step two: rename that layer "model effect".
step three:right click- "to convert to smart object"
step four:go up to "image"- "Adjustments-black & white "
step five:keep everything set to default, then put OK
step six:go to "foreground : black/background : white"
step seven: "filter"- "filter gallery"
step eight:"select artistic "- "colored pencil" ,pencil width: 3 , stroke pressure: 7 , paper brightness at: 50 or whatever works best with your picture then hit OK
step nine: duplicate the background again. CTRL + J , then drag it to the top, rename it to model
step ten: go down to "select mask" *make sure your foreground is black
step eleven: select "brush tool" open the brush presets select "large brush with soft edges"
step twelve: then go over the part of the image that you want to have to sketch effect. Then you're done !!
